We have the following 2 cars: 2005 Frontier LE Crew Cab 4x4 2005 Altima SE-R My wife is prego with triplets (our 1st and only kids) and is due in April. Is it possible to live with what car/truck we have. I used the tool to match seats with cars, but it has nothing for the newer quad cab Frontiers. I did take a measuring tape to both our cars and found our truck has wider space in the backseat than our Altima. It is also more roomier than the Altima in many regards, although both have side airbags and all the safety stuff offered for their years. Both our cars support 3 persons in the back seat, but our Altima has the anchor system where our truck doesn't. I'm considering ditching our Altima and getting a Dodge or Chrysler minivan with the new turn/go seating on the second row, but wanted to touch base here and seek the wisdom of the collective. I would rather not ditch the car/truck that we both love, but we are worried about proper safety and the ability to do 5 hour road trips to see grandparents from time to time and maintain our sanity. Thoughts??? Lastly, I'm so glad I found this website and the info contained within. Thank you to the host of this website and the info contained within. ![]() Cheers, VG

With trips---I think you're gonna want infant seats....it will make taking them places easier. I think the Chicco Keyfit will be your best bet as the lower weight limit is 4 pounds. Also depending on where you live...it may still be cold when the babies are born and come home.(I nannied for dec trips.) The Keyfit's install is VERY easy. Read the manuals--car and carseat a few times and you'll be SET. The only way to really test fit and be certain is to try it out. Most BRU/TRU will let you take seats out to test out. You might have to leave your lisence---but it's worth it. The only problem you'll likely run into there is that they might not have 3 display keyfits. But if you can get 2 in side by side and then take the outside one out and try it on the other side. For convertibles...possibly the Radian 65--but I wouldn't even really worry about them yet. You'll want to wait until you are close to needing them to make that purchase. Susan

So far the slimmest infant seat that Ive found is the Chicco Keyfit as well. BRU DOES have 3 Chicco Keyfits. If the rep looks at you like youre an idiot for wanting to try 3 of them, go look at their stroller/carseat combos. There is a brown and a gray/green. Have them snag the orange, brown, and gray/green and head out to test them! Also when purchasing 2+ items from Babies R Us for multiples (items must be at or over $100 a piece), they offer a 10% discount. Let them know you are having triplets. Congrats and good luck!
