Default 3 infant seats?? SOS!!

Our baby will be 11 months when our twins are born this spring (this pregnancy was surprising enough, now we've just found out there's two in there!!).

Son is currently in a rear facing convertible Graco seat that could go forward facing after awhile. The infant seats we have are Graco Snug Ride. Right now we drive a 00 Camry and a 98 Chev Malibu.

Does anyone have any suggestions on fitting a convertible seat with 2 infant seats in any type of vehicle? We have only a few months to figure out if we will need to take the leap and buy a minivan or something.. thanks

It is indeed possible to fit 3 seats across in both your vehicles

Do you know if your convertible is the Graco ComfortSport or SafeSeat Step2 Neither are frequently recommended for 3 across situations, but I think the ComfortSport is less wide than the other....

Snugrides are generally pretty good for tight squeezes, but you may need to consider a different convertible seat (if for no other reason than that both seats mentioned above are also grown out of sooner than other options, causing kids to be prematurely "graduated" to boosters before they're truly ready)

The Sunshine Kids Radian is a very narrow convertible, but I'm not sure how well it meshes between 2 infant seats. Good news is that it does fit newborns well.

Bottom line, we always suggest testing seats out in your vehicle whenever possible (Babies-R-Us should allows this) & always remember to have your local CPST check your seats CONGRATS!
