Default what is possible in a VW passat and 3 carseats?

We currently have a 2002 VW passat wagon which we love. We have a nearly 4 year old (only about 31 lbs) in a five point harness (Britax Roundabout) and a 6.5 year old (about 48 in tall and 42 lbs) in a cosco high back booster seat. We are expecting another child in April and plan to get a larger car/hybrid/SUV, but wondered if we could make this one work for a little while with an infant seat. We don't mind finding new carseats. We looked briefly at the Toureag but looks the same size in back as the Passat.
Any ideas? Thanks

I would head to Target or Babies R Us and try out the Baby Trend Flex Loc seat. The base is pretty narrow and I think you MAY be able to put the carrier in there with no problem. I would put your 6.5 y/o in the middle if you have a lap/shoulder belt and your other children outboard. If there is only a lap belt in the middle, I would probably put your 4y/o in the middle...unless you want to put the infant carrier in the middle and have to lift the carrier over the other seats to put him/her in the middle

Default me too

We also have a Passat Wagon, a 3 year old (33 lbs, 39 in) and a 1 year old (22 lbs). I have the 3 year old in the Britax Marathon and the 1 year old in the Roundabout. Expecting baby #3 in June and really want to keep our car- just 19 payments left. Let me know what you find out.

You could likely go with 2 Radian 80s (to keep your 6 y/o in a harness longer). Put those seats side by side with the infant carrier outboard.
