Default 3+ 2006 Honda Pilot

I have a 2006 Honda Pilot and am trying to configure the best seating arrangement for my kids:
5 month old rear facing Britax Boulevard
7 yr old backless Graco booster 4'3" 69 lbs
10 yr old seatbelt 4'7" 79 lbs

Right now I have all three across the second row the older two on the outside and the baby in the middle.

I am wondering if it would make more sense to put the baby on the outside since he has the most protective car seat. Then put the 10 yr old either in the third row middle seat or the second row middle seat since he has the least protection. Then either leave the 7 yr old in his booster on the outside seat or the 2nd row middle if I put the 10 yr old in the third row.

The third row makes me nervous. I know rear crashes are less common. We do have side curtain airbags all the way back.

I would prefer the older too weren't sitting by each other (as you can imagine) but for safety they (I) will survive!

Thanks

Do you have lap/shoulder belts in the middle? or just a lap belt?

I wanted to make sure just so I don't say, put your boostered child in the middle and there be just a lap belt (huge no!).

Any location in your vehicle sounds safe...especially with those side airbags. If your are comfortable with the seating position now, then I would leave it as is b/c I bet seeing your siblings on either side of you keeps the baby quite entertained...LOL! You are correct, rear crashes, statistically, are much lower than frontal and side impact. I have had kiddos in my 3rd row and never thought about being in a rear crash.

I know I'm not much help, but I saw try out some different positions and stick with one that works for you! Good luck!
