| We have a 1.5 year old, 3 year old and 7 year old with twins on the way. We are trying to determine the best vehicle that will hold the 1.5 year old and the twins in the 2nd row, with two older kids in the third row. We currently have a minivan with the rear bucket seats and 3rd row bench, which only holds two car seats. We are considering a suburban with the nice wide second row but the more I have read online I'm seeing that a mid size SUV may still be an option. Anyone have any vehicle suggestions to accomodate growing family? Thanks for your input. |

| My personal advice would be to go out and check into vehicles. Bring the whole family along and try carseats out in the new vehicles. If you look at the mid size SUV's, your kids will likely be "on top of each other". Another idea, could you contact your car dealership (whatever your make/model is) and see if there is the option to take the captains chairs out and put a bench in?

What specific carseats/boosters do they currently ride in? Quote:
You may in fact be able to fit 3 seats in the back somehow....
