Infiniti FX35 and infant seat...help!!!

Hi-

Has anyone successfully used the rear facing Maxi Cosi Mico infant seat in their FX35?? I just purchased this seat and with it installed behind the driver, there is no room for the driver to sit comfortably and safely, and vice versa behind the passenger seat. We also have the Britax Booster for my 4 year old daughter. I already threw away the boxes for both this and the Quinny Buzz stroller we purchased with it. The Mico Car seat is the only one compatible with the Quinny, so if this seat will not work in my SUV, I will have to try and sell both. Has anyone had any luck with this seat and if not, which seats work well for any of you that may own the FX35. Our other choice is the Peg Perego Primo Viaggo. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
