What car seats work well with 2010 Honda Insight

I am an expectant mom and am researching infant car seats. I like the sound of the Britax Chaperone but read on many other sites the base is too large for the car seat. I am exploring Chicco seats too.
Can anyone recommend what works well with the Insight?
