| We are considering purchasing a 2008 Toyota Highlander but are concerned about fitting an infant carseat and subsequent carseats in the middle of the second row. According to the January 2008 Consumer Reports review of the Higlander, many carseats will not fit properly in this position (which makes me wonder why Toyota chose to make this change in the redesign!). We tried the carseat in the middle position and it appears to work but we are by no means experts! Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance for the help! |

| I believe it is Toyota that usually doesn't allow carseats in the middle. Check in the manual and see if it will or will not.
