 House approves Senate's version of booster seat bill The House approved the Senate's version of a measure requiring children under 7 years old and less than 50 inches high ride in cars with booster seats. Rep. Tom Burch, D-Louisville, described it on the floor as a "watered down version" of what the House wanted.
