| Hello! My adorable 19 month old daughter has Down Syndrome and I would like to know if anyone has any experience with a convertible car seat that might be best for her needs. She weighs 21 pounds and is 31 inches long. Due to her somewhat low tone, I will be keeping her RF for as long as possible. She also gets a bit sweaty and we sometimes spend lots of time in the car. I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. I was looking for a Britax, but I am open to other options. Since children with Down Syndrome are a little bit more on the petite side, I am certain that I will be using this seat for a long time. Thanks for your help! ![]() |

| Ditto Susan. The newer seats (mainly date of manufactures february 2008 to present) have 35 RF weight limits, nice tall shell and you will get the most use out of it ![]()

| Have you looked at the Sunshine Kids Radian80? The new ones rear-face to 35 lbs and they have higher top harness slots than some of the Britax seats. The Radian also has an 8 year life span instead of the Britax 6 year life so your petite daughter would get more use out of it. |
