Default need help replacing 2 seats for my 3.5 year old

I need to replace 2 seats for my 3.5 year old 40 pounder seated height is 14". First one and the one with most priority is a Cosco Scenera. Obviously she's outgrown it. It is the spare seat that gets used a few times a week in a 2005 Chevy 4 door pickup. I keep her in the middle seat position and have been using LATCH to secure the seat. There are 2 other children that ride in the back on either side of the seat, one in a backless booster, the other in no seat at all (12 years old)
I need help finding a replacement 5 point seat.
The second seat that will need to be replaced at a later date will be the main seat. A Britax Marathon. My DD is on the last harness slot in this seat. I'm expecting it to get her through her next birthday, hopefully longer! This seat is in a 2004 Chevy Impala. Secured using LATCH in the middle back seat position. Rarely will there be any other passengers in the back.

I want something that is easy to use and install, has high weight and height limits, DD is very tall for her age, as tall or taller than the average 4 -5 year old. I'm willing to spend what I need to to get DD a great seat that will last a long time.

I have tried her in the Graco Nautilus in the store. Didn't have much time to play around with it but one thing that worried me was the crotch harness release. DD was able to push the button down and unbuckle herself. I'm afraid she'll do that when in the car, is there something to put over the button to deter her from releasing the harness?
I've also seen the Frontier in the store. Looks like a great seat. However, I have heard that there are problems with the harness coming off of the plate in the back.

Help and opinions please!
