| Hi, im looking for a new car seat for my vw golf. the problem with the current seat is that it takes up heaps of room. This results in my knees getting quashed against the glovebox as i cant get my seat back. anyone had this problem? if so any reccommendations on which seat to buy? my daughter is only 2 but she is quite tall |

| The recommendation is that the child sit rear facing until the upper limits of the seat rear facing, but in this case (I know the car is extremely small), I would turn her around forward facing or keep her rear facing and put the seat behind the passenger seat. That way the passenger seat can be moved forward and a rider and possibly sit behind you. I believe the better solution would be to turn her forward facing. That way you will not have an issue with leg room. What seat do you currently have? If it is a convertible seat, then you will not need to get a new one. You can use the one you currently have. Let me know what you have now and I will be able to help you further.
