Default Trouble Tightening harness in a Regent?

We have just bought Regents for our 3 yo. I felt like I got everything installed just fine, but I am having trouble tightening the harness as much as I would like. It seems to be because my daughter just happens to be at a place where the "T' like join on the harness straps (connecting top to bottom) is RIGHT at where the seat bends from bottom to back. Is there anything I can do? Surely this should be a solvable problem?

Thanks much!

Amy

I figured out what the problem was. The headrest needed to be removed in order for the angle of the seat to be correct. This was in a 2001 Prius.
