Default Need help!!

we are needing to move our 2.5 year old out of her marathon because our 8 month old now needs it since she out grew the infant carrier. I can wait on getting a new seat, becuse I am borrowing my friends evenflo. I would keep the evenflo, but I don't like the way it tightens and loseins the harness. Our 2.5 year old is 27.5 lbs and 37" tall. She's a small girl but needs a new seat/booster. I've read some great reviews on graco's new nautilus, but I am not sure if it is worth waiting to hear about the Britax Frontier. I really want a seat that converts to a boster. What would should I do and are there other seats out there that would fit my needs.

Since your daughter is so small, I suspect that she may be able to get the full use out of her Marathon. In fact, she could even still be rear facing.

If you move your baby, the Marathon will expire before she's outgrown it...and you'll still need to buy another seat for that child.

You could move your 2.5 yr old into a Nautilus...but it SWALLOWS small children--I've seen pics of a 30 pound 3 yr old---and while she technically fit---she was just so tiny in the seat.

Just some things to consider.

Susan

I agree with PP. I would actually look into getting your youngest a new seat vs your oldest a new one. There are so many great seats out on the market that are lesser in price and have great features. Evenflo Triumph ADVANCE will RF to 35lbs and FF to 50lbs.

When your oldest gets closer to outgrowing the Marathon, the seat will likely be getting close to expiration (6 years from date of manufacture) and you can re-evaluate your situation then.
