To teach / show installs? Could the buckles be cut out?

We get a bunch back (I work at EliteCarSeats.com) in less then perfect condition, and many of our vendors instruct us to destroy them. The are fine for install, but can't be used for kids. In order for us to let them out, we'd have to cut the buckles and write on them that they are for demo only. If that works I should have an unlimited supply, so if you'll cover the shipping I can get them to you.

Well....I sort of need the buckles. This would be for techs-to-be to show me they understand the install AND they also need to demonstrate proper harness height, etc. Hmmmm...Is there a possibility of writing on the seats demo only and not cutting buckles? COULD that work? Heck, I can send you a release form, releasing you guys and even the manufacturers from liability (I can guarantee that they will NOT be used for children...I cringe at the thought!!!).

You can pm me if you want. Are you guys based in Minneapolis? or was it Wisconsin?

Default donations!

Where are you? I have a Snugride - not even outdated - that I could give you. I was toying with the idea of selling it, but it needs a new harness if I did. It looks like on craig's list it would go for about $20, so since a new harness is $20, seems like a wash. Since I'm undecided, it's adorning our bedroom.

Oh, I washed the harness, but that wouldn't matter for your purposes.
